ImageGreetings travelling enthusiast! Summer is just around the corner and many of us are either planning our vacation or getting ready for it. If you’re in the first category, I’m going to recommend that you take your time and shop around. There are a ton of great places to consider so don’t just hop on the Disney website and book one of their cruises.

If you’re going on vacation, make sure you aren’t scrimping. After all, this is a vacation, so planning a luxury vacation shouldn’t be far from your grasp. There are lots of places you should be looking to. Taking a peak at luxury vacation magazines like the Four Seasons magazine isn’t always a bad thing. It may be a vacation that’s slightly out of your grasp, but many of these magazines will give you some really great ideas that you can find alternatives to. Here’s an example: you may want to go sandboarding in Egypt but it’s just a little bit out of your grasp. So why not plan a trip to go on a tour through a desert in the middle-east? There are always alternatives out there.

Try expanding beyond just the standard travel ideas. There are lots of travel magazines out there, but it’s important to know what they’re going to offer you. It’s not just the destination, but what’s there as well. Luxury vacations mean luxury EVERYTHING. We’re talking food, trips, hotels, cars, the works. Try looking at different blogs. Taking a gander through some popular food blogs might give you a few ideas of places to go as well. You’d be surprised what a good meal can do.

Now this one may sound a bit weird, but try checking out some travel magazines that also have a wedding influence to them. Many luxury honeymoons are a lot like luxury vacations, and while the activities may be different, the locations are still fantastic and worth checking out. Remember, luxury vacations don’t just have to come to families. And if you’re a couple, the honeymoon route might help to keep it extra personal. If you aren’t married, ladies, use this as a little precursor for some destination wedding ideas.

There are loads of resources to check out when you’re considering destinations for your vacation. Wedding and food blogs are just some ideas that I’ve used in the past, but be creative. It also doesn’t hurt to contact a travel agency as well. Many of them use the same resources as me and you, they just have a bit more at their disposal, so never sell yourself short! Stay vigilant in your search, keep your options open and, most importantly, remember to plan a vacation that you’ll enjoy!
